10 Signs You Might Have A Parasite

The common belief in more developed countries is that parasites are only found in underdeveloped countries. This simply isn’t true, and unfortunately this myth continues to spread.

10 Signs You Might Have A Parasite

. Parasites are very common in developed countries and some estimates state that around 50% of people in these countries have parasite problems. According to The University of Maryland, “Parasites can live within the intestines for years without causing any symptoms.” When I found out this information I wondered if I had parasites and began looking into symptoms. Sure enough, I had almost all of the symptoms, especially fatigue, waking often during the night, unexplained skin irritations, bloating and hungry all the time (even though I ate like crazy.) I wanted to try a parasite cleanse to see if it would actually work. So the research to find one began! At that point I found out about Organic Olivia and her research on parasites.

The good news I found out is that parasites can be cleansed safely and easily. Also, doing parasite cleanses is a normal thing in many other countries as parasites are simply unavoidable and part of life. Unless you are eating an incredibly clean diet and your system is really in great shape, you will experience parasites. According to Organic Olivia’s research: “They (The University of Maryland) mention “exposure to child and institutional care centers” as one possible “cause” of parasites, which pretty much means all schools, doctors offices, hospitals, etc. So, all children are especially susceptible, and so is anyone who has ever been in contact with children or public institutions is as well. Parasites are incredibly contagious, especially when you don’t wash your hands a lot (once again, children!) You also get parasites from eating fruits and vegetables. Yup! Microscopic parasites live all over plants (and everything else). Wash them well, but even then, you’ll get some. Next, you get parasites from meat, even if it’s cooked, but especially if you like your meat rare. Third, you get parasites from touching others and coming into contact with their body fluids. Fourth, you really get parasites if you have a pet or live with/around animals. Ever have a pet lick your face? You have tons. Don’t worry, just cleanse. IN SHORT: Parasites are unavoidable. Cleansing a few times a year and boosting your immune system with perfect whole foods is the name of the game.” “Ninety percent of humans will have a problem with parasites in their lifetime.” – Dr. Oz Intestinal parasites can infect the gastro-intestinal tract of humans and other animals. While they can live in different areas of the body, they mainly stick to intestinal walls. You can get parasites in a number of ways; they can come from the ingestion of undercooked meat, unwashed fruits and vegetables, or infected water. You can also get them while travelling, from contact with animals, or through skin absorption.[1][2] There are a few types of parasites we can get: Trichinella: Infection with the microscopic parasite Trichinella leads to trichinellosis, also known as trichinosis. This comes from eating undercooked meats. Hookworm: Hookworm infects an estimated 576 to 740 million people worldwide and was once a common infection in the U.S., particularly in the southeast. This typically happens from walking barefoot on contaminated soil. Dientamoeba Fragilis: This parasite is one of the smaller parasites that can live in the large intestine. It’s unclear how exactly it is contracted or spread. A study out of The University of Maryland states, “Parasites can live within the intestines for years without causing any symptoms.” This is why many of us have parasites without even knowing it. Here is an interesting video of Dr. Oz and another doctor discussing some of the different parasites out there, symptoms and how people can get them Cleansing parasites is something many cultures around the world do quite regularly, yet I was surprised to learn that here in North America, it is not a common practice. Parasite cleansing can be done very effectively by simply using herbs and eating fairly clean for 7 – 10 days. You might find the process alarming if you are unaware that when you pass parasites, you may very well see some shocking things appear in the toilet.

They are dead, of course, but their size and appearance can vary quite dramatically.

The most powerful herbs for cleansing parasites are wormwood, black walnut hull, cloves, neem, thyme, burdock root, cayenne pepper, and amare seaweed. You can get parasite cleansing kits that contain the right mixtures of these herbs in health food stores and maybe even in some grocery stores. You can also buy the individual herbs and take them yourself based on the correct dosages. We use and love Organic Olivia’s because it’s a mix of the right ingredients and we actually took the time to source out all the organic ingredients ourselves from the best botanical places in the country that we could find. So we know exactly where it came from. Thanks to all the support from OO’s community and our community, we crowdfunded the ability to bring the parasite cleanse to our store! You can grab your parasite cleanse kit here. We did a story on Olivia and found out she had a number of health problems throughout her life. She dealt with IBS, depression, acne, anxiety, and poor digestion. This led her to search out a ton of research about her conditions and their possible causes. Once she found out parasites might be at the core of all her issues, a parasite cleanse was the first thing on her list to try. Here is a picture of her back acne improvement along with one of the parasites she passed during her cleanse. Here’s more info below from Olivia. “CureZone.com has an excellent parasite forum where I got a lot of tips and tricks! I started to check out the sub-forum ‘Hulda Clark Parasite Protocol’ and realized that everything people know today about the three parasite cleansing herbs (black walnut hull, wormwood, cloves) was because of Dr. Hulda Clark’s discoveries. I bought her book and read the chapter explaining how to use the herbs for a complete parasite cleanse.” All of these can be bought on your own at herbal stores, natural food stores, or online. To keep it simple, Olivia teamed up with a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor and came up with an awesome parasite cleanse that’s been getting great results from anyone who has done it.
