Descended from a lineage of Orthodox priests, and deeply connected to the spiritual realms from a young age, Daniel Mitel’s path was always going to lead him to helping people understand their intimate connection to Creation. His service to humanity as a light worker sees him travel around the world, but here, in a moment of stillness he shares with us the importance of creating from the Heart and how the Awakening the Illuminated Heart and Heart Imagery workshops he teaches can help us do just that. Hi Daniel, Can you explain who you are, and what it is that you do as an Awakening the Illuminated Heart teacher of the School of Remembering? Hi and blessings to all readers and light workers everywhere. I am a light worker in service for humanity. As an Awakening the Illuminated Heart (ATIH) teacher of the School of Remembering, I teach people to move their spirit into the Heart and stay there as long as possible. What path led you to discover Drunvalo Melchizedek and the School of Remembering? When I was just 3 years old, I would stay for hours in the lotus flower posture. My mum didn’t know what to say to people visiting us; she just smiled and told them it was a good posture for the spine (which is true) and I wanted a healthy spine (that’s true too). In 1981 I started teaching Zen Meditation and practicing Tai Chi. In the mid 90’s I spent four years in Tibet working with two Lama Masters. I went back to the Western part of the world teaching Tibetan Meditations and Heart Imagery. Through this, I met and worked with Masters such as Osho and the Dalai Lama, from different schools of meditation who train their students to be in the Heart. I discovered that worldwide all Masters teach that we have to work our soul; we have to be in the Sacred Space of our Heart in order to consciously create something in our lives. After reading ‘The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life’, by Drunvalo, I understood that he was connected to Melchizedek Consciousness and I felt that his teachings are very important for humanity, so I went to all of his Earth and Sky workshops.
Then when Drunvalo founded School of Remembering and invited me to join it, I felt it was time for me to teach ATIH. Drunvalo appointed me in the First Council of School of Remembering together with four other teachers: Conchita and Gaby from Mexico, Ron from Canada and Vicki from Australia. What are the main goals of the ATIH workshop? What is it that attendees are hoping to achieve and how do they benefit from attending? The main goals of the ATIH workshop is to help you remember who you really are, and to understand the Creation process and your role in it.
The benefits of the workshop are: You mention the Mer-Ka-Ba, how is this light body activated, and what does its activation mean for the person who has undertaking the process? The word Mer-Ka-Ba, or the human body light body comes from the ancient Egyptian times. It is actually three words; ‘Mer’ meaning a counter-rotating field of light, ‘Ka’ meaning spirit, and ‘Ba’ meaning body. If a spirit doesn’t have a body, they still have a Mer-Ka-Ba. It is their body of knowledge and wisdom, and contains their memories. Most people on Earth have lost their Mer-Ka-Bas, but it is still around them in the form of a seed which just needs to be activated. Activation of Mer-Ka-Ba is done during a short 20 minute meditation on the last day of the ATIH workshop, after the students learn to connect the heart with the brain.
The human light body protects you from various energies that might affect your mental, emotional and physical bodies: solar flares, radiation, pollution, geomagnetic lines and magnetic fields of the earth. Drunvalo is the first person in the modern world to mathematically and geometrically define the human light body. You say that the workshop can be the first steps in the Ascension process. Can you explain exactly what you mean when you talk about ascension? A lot of people think that ascension is a personal decision but it is not. Mother Earth decides if we are ready for ascension. Ascension comes when the energy of the Father Sun transmuted by the Mother Earth triggers substantial changes in our human DNA that modifies our cells’ vibration helping us to move from the third dimension (where we are now) to the fourth dimension. The concept of different dimensions and travelling between them is one that many people have difficulty getting their heads around. What is the proof of this concept, and how would you explain it to someone who didn’t understand or believe in it? Well there is plenty of scientific proof of parallel or different dimensions. Let’s just remember Brian Greene’s famous movie ‘The Elegant Universe’ where Nobel Prize winning physicists discuss and demonstrate the theory. All the Great Masters and ancient civilizations talk about it: the Mayans, the Tibetans, The Yogi Great Masters, the Egyptians, the Sumerians, the Vedic and so on. But the real proof of this concept is INSIDE of us. Anybody who meditates can see, sense, feel and know that there is something there. That there is more there than just going to work each morning, making money to buy a house or a car, shopping, sleeping and eating. If we think that this is our purpose on this Universe, we are making a mistake. Sooner or later, our Higher Selves will give us lessons that will lead us back to unconditional love and harmony. So an integral part of the ATIH workshop is teaching people to be in the heart. Is it possible for everyone to go into the heart or do you ever witness people who are unable to achieve this goal and if so why is that? Any human being can go into the heart. All of us have a Sacred Space of The Heart and a Tiny Space of The Heart, the place where the Universe was created, the place where we can approach Divinity.
There are people unable to achieve this goal because of emotional trauma or mental belief patterns. But this is temporary. Anybody can clean the mental and emotional body and move into the heart. Why does emotional trauma stop us from going into our heart and how does the workshop help us to clear this emotional trauma? Indeed, emotional traumas are the biggest problem. If we have trauma such as a divorce or the death of a loved one, when we try to enter the heart we feel pain, and this stops us. The only answer is to release this pain, which is what we do on the Healing Day of the workshop. What ways can people heal their own emotional trauma by themselves? Through meditation and forgiveness. But it is not easy. Sometimes we spend years and years clinging onto things that happened long ago. If we don’t release it, it is very difficult to enter into the Heart. We must forgive ourselves and forgive others. I also help people to release their emotional traumas through the Heart Imagery workshop.
The first and second seminars Cleaning the Past and Self-Renewal, and Healing and Emotional Clarity really help people to heal and clean their traumas. What are the disadvantages of living in or creating from the brain as opposed to from the Heart? The brain is polarized; it has two parts – the left side and the right side. Because of this, anything that you create from the brain will also be polarized. What this means is that if you create something that will manifest into the outer Reality, this brain method will give you what you want, but it will also give you exactly what you don’t want.
The Heart is a unified field with no polarization. When we are dreaming from the Heart, the dreams are always good, filled with love and harmony, peace and beauty. How can we teach our brains and our hearts to connect and work together for our highest good? As part of the ATIH workshop, I teach students how to activate the third eye, then to connect the heart with an awakening brain. An awakening brain means that the third eye is activated. Other methods to connect the heart and the brain include Heart Imagery workshops, Kriya Yoga, Tibetan Meditations, Tai Chi and QI Gong. Despite being taught the importance of being in the heart, it can be hard to consciously stay there, especially in times of conflict when we quickly become defensive, and act from our ego or our mind rather than our heart. How can we learn to control this and stay in our hearts? Indeed living in a world of polarities makes it hard for us to stay into the heart. I do teach some techniques in Meditation Day and Heart Imagery workshops regarding the moving the spirit and consciousness back into the heart.
The most important step is to be able to realize when you are in the Brain versus being into the Heart.
The Brain has a specific vibration. After being in the heart and feeling the heart’s vibration it is difficult to go back, and live into the brain.
The brain is so male, so logical and the heart is so female, so intuitive. Being a teacher of the ATIH workshop must have personal benefits for you as well. How do you feel you are benefitting on your own journey through teaching this workshop? When I teach, I am also a student of Higher Consciousness Masters. This is the best personal benefit. I teach and I learn. Each workshop is a new learning point, a new spiritual experience and a new journey into the Infinite Spirit. I am blessed to connect with my Higher Self and Ascended Masters. I am blessed to travel all over the world and teach people to stay in the heart. I am blessed to understand that life is beautiful; life is just a dream, a beautiful dream. We are all here to experience this beautiful dream! Thank you Daniel Thank You! And for people that are interested in getting more details, my website is www.danielmitel.com .
