Reclaim The Goddess: Stop Using The Name ISIS To Describe A Bunch Of Murderous People
Greg Taylor from the Daily Grail recently wrote a brilliant article titled, “Reclaiming the Goddess: Stop Using the Name ISIS to Describe a Bunch of Ignorant, Murderous F**ktards,” and it’s definitely something we would like to echo here at Collective Evolution.
The origins of ISIS, the Egyptian goddess of the Ancient Egyptian pantheon, can be traced back approximately 5,000 years. Taylor points out that she was worshipped “as the ideal of motherhood, as a deity who cared for the plight of others, as one who would watch over travelers, and who was ‘Great of Magic’, being able to bring life to the dead.” This name of ISIS, a deity that was considered to be so good that she was worshiped for thousands of years, has now been, perhaps irrevocably, tied to something far less benevolent — the Islamic State. This is tragic in its own right. Even more disturbing, however, is the fact that this notion of the ‘Islamic state’ is in no way a true representation of the Muslim faith. Indeed, this so-called Islamic state (terrorist group) has been completely fabricated, funded, and encouraged by the Western military alliance (you can read more about that here).
The name ISIS is now equated with war, murder, lies, and deceit. “There are a lot of powerful people with the name Isis. My daughter is one of those. But their power comes from being compassionate, intelligent, beautiful, and magical.
The group that has been co-opting the name are party to none of those attributes, and it is those attributes which give true power. So stop calling them by the name Isis.” – Greg Taylor Personally, I’d call this group Mercenaries of the Western Military Alliance, or MWMA for short. Taylor points to the name “Daesh” or “Da’ish,” which is a word that originated from Syrian activists, and you can see why by reading his article. At the end of his article, Taylor challenges readers to start using Daesh as the name for this group who is currently being called ISIS. He encourages us to hop onto Facebook and deny this group their power by denying their name. He urges us instead to make clear their true nature, which is one of ignorance, mercilessness, hate, and weakness. He ends his article saying: “When you think of Isis from now on, think of the image of the goddess at the top of this post.” I thought I would take his advice and at least share his message on the Collective Evolution platform. I would like to thank Greg for his wonderful article and for his efforts to preserve the true origins and meaning of this name. Source: (Greg Taylor’s Article) .
