Sandra Pralong – Soros operative and ex-advisor to Klaus Iohannis – was deeply involved in the election scheme against Calin Georgescu. She used the RePatriot non-governmental organisation (“NGO”), funded by USAID, to interfere in the process.

Now, Constitutional Court Judge Iuliana Scântei is revealed to be part of the same NGO – the very group that tried to manipulate the public after Georgescu won the first round.

RePatriot NGO owns Newsweek Romania, pushing its agenda.
Pralong was a director at Newsweek US and founded Soros’ Open Society in Romania.
Iohannis, the man behind the election annulment, had Pralong as an advisor.

Soros-Linked Activists Flood Romanian Electoral Bureau With 1,000 Identical Appeals Against Călin Georgescu

Over 1,000 copy-paste appeals were filed against Călin Georgescu’s candidacy, organised by Soros-backed activists trying to block him.

But the Electoral Bureau (“BEC”) is set to reject them all – the challenges were filed before his candidacy was even validated, making them invalid.

A desperate move by the globalist machine, but rules are rules – and Georgescu’s path remains clear.

Soros-Backed NGO Behind EU Censorship Also Working To Block Romanian Presidential Candidate Georgescu

A Soros-funded NGO that helped create the EU’s Digital Services Act (“DSA”) and led efforts to censor right-wing voices across Europe is the one actively working to block Romanian presidential candidate Călin Georgescu.

Romanian investigative journalist Iosefina Pascal has uncovered that the same NGO, Avaaz, which censored conservative parties in Poland, Spain, Germany and France, is the one that interfered in Romania’s elections – supporting efforts to challenge Georgescu’s candidacy in court.

The group has a long track record of suppressing right-wing movements, shutting down pages and accounts of conservative politicians, blocking discussions on mass migration, and even coordinating anti-right-wing election campaigns in Spain, France and Italy.

Avaaz was directly involved in pushing through the EU’s Digital Services Act, the very law being used to silence dissent online. Now, figures linked to this NGO are part of the legal battle against Georgescu, despite him polling above 40% in every major survey.

This isn’t just about Romania – it’s the same elite-driven censorship machine that has been deployed across Europe and even against Trump and Elon.

Romania’s Election Bureau Accused of Power Grab in Georgescu Ban

Yesterday, Romania’s Central Electoral Bureau (“BEC”) rejected Călin Georgescu’s presidential candidacy, raising legal concerns over exceeding its authority.

The Constitutional Court (“CCR”) previously ruled that only it can verify a candidate’s constitutional eligibility, making BEC’s decision a potential breach of legal precedent.

The BEC cited the CCR’s 6 December election annulment, but that ruling did not name or disqualify Georgescu, casting doubt on the bureau’s justification.

Their decision caused widespread protests in Romania as people feared it marked the death of democracy in the country.

Calls for an investigation into BEC members are growing, as critics argue the move undermines Romania’s legal and democratic order.

“What is happening these days in Romania is simply unbelievable; we are in an ongoing coup d’etat, and the last episode was yesterday when they rejected the candidacy of Mr. Georgescu without any reason.

“We will continue to fight; we have the support of the people, so we want to reach free elections.

“We will need today, Monday and throughout the week, the help of our international friends who believe in the free world, who believe in democracy and who believe in free elections.

“I just met with Mr. Georgescu – we made a plan to re-join democracy, to get to free elections peacefully.

“So please help us in order to be there.”

Georgescu to Fight Romanian Election Ban in Court

Călin Georgescu, Romania’s conservative presidential contender, will challenge the central election authority’s decision to bar him from May’s election rerun.

Yesterday, the authority banned Georgescu, arguing that his leading role in the November 2024 election – annulled in December due to alleged Russian interference – disqualifies him from running again.

The Constitutional Court, set to rule by Wednesday on his appeal, has a history of blocking candidates – last October, it barred another conservative for anti-EU rhetoric.
