5 Steps To Unifying & Changing Our World

“Some of us think holding on makes us strong, but sometimes it is letting go.” –Herman Hesse Much of our lives have been influenced by various people, society, governments and the media.

5 Steps To Unifying & Changing Our World

Before we can move to a state of oneness we must come to terms with these conditioned states. By looking deep within and in quiet reflection we can identify our attachments, distractions and clinging states. Once identified, we must come to the realisation that all these states, thoughts and feelings are a construct of our mind. By seeing ourselves as self-reliant and empowered beings we can unleash our creative capacity to make positive change.

The way we choose to process information and how we perceive ourselves is our reality. We can choose to let go and forgive or we can choose to hold onto resentment, anger and frustration. We can choose to hold onto old assumptions or we can move toward a new reality of sustainability. In the end we are the ones who choose. We must live with the consequences. By developing meditative practices we can delve deeper into our consciousness mind and begin to uncover the truth that exists, allowing us to awaken. It is time to let go so we can move forward in a sustainable manner, otherwise we will be holding on, holding onto out dated and counter productive ideologies. “He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings, and all beings in his own Self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye.” -Buddha Only those who are aware can see everything is moving harmoniously in a unified consciousness. By observing, understanding and bringing awareness to ourselves can we identify with the oneness that exists. Our conditioned states tell us we need to progress as a nation, as individuals and as a community. This conditioning is based around having and achieving things. It is not the higher purpose or spiritual enlightenment of oneness.

There is nothing in our mainstream media and government policies about evolving to a higher place of pure potential. Waking up is hard. It is too easy to remain tucked away in bed when it is raining outside. We opt for the mainstream easy option and few wander off the track to seek alternatives to living a more enlightened existence. Many on the fringe have been shunned and ridiculed yet these insightful beings are living life according to the laws of nature. It is easy to be seduced by the gods of progress that offer easy living, luxury and convenience. It seems too hard to be non-conformist and live a life that goes against what we have been brought up with. “The reason why the world lacks unity, and lies broken and in heaps, is because man is disunited with himself.” Ralph Waldo Emerson We are lost in the desert without food or water, on the brink of death. Suddenly out of nowhere there is someone, we are found. Our rescuer shares their water and food with us. We survive to tell of the ordeal. We can now see the way. Sharing our experiences is like giving a starving man food. It is by sharing the truth of oneness that we can help bring humanity out of its thirst and starvation, into the new endless realm of potential. It allows us to tap into the universal force of collective consciousness, giving us incredible power to connect and share consciousness. Oneness is the mutual benefit of shared knowledge, wisdom and experiences.Only by sharing experiences with others and developing wisdom from our higher consciousness can we share with others the truths that exist. Being open to everything allows us to share a fulfilled, harmonious and enlightened life. If we live with compassion, forgiveness, generosity, kindness, love, and understanding then we will live the life the great masters have taught. By putting ourselves in our neighbour’s shoes will we understand what it is like to be our neighbour.

The unity that exists throughout all things is the constant that connects all. “The true self is not limited to this world or even to the universe. It has no boundaries, no fixed position, no form, no self, no limits, no time. It’s totally beyond knowing or not knowing, being or not being – totally beyond all discrimination. That’s what we have to realise. This formless form is none other than this very form, this very body, this very life!” Dennis Genpo Merzel Oneness knows that oneness and abundance is everywhere it is ever present. As Jesus once said “Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you”. We have been waiting for a quick fix, the secret elixir, an antidote. We want to find the switch that says ‘enlightenment here’. Over time we have been reminded by great masters who spell it out for all to see. Abundance and enlightenment is in the way we process our thoughts and how we act upon those thoughts. It is not in the having of an object that is abundance, having is merely possession. Anyone can possess an object, yet to feel abundance is a completely different realm. This is a major step to enlightenment. Abundance is how we see our reality, life and how creative we are. If we can think something, then we can live it. Once we come to the realisation that life is more than what we see in this world of illusion then we can move forward.

The false reality of materialism, success, competition and trivialities are holding us back from awakening. Only by looking deeper will we find true abundance. “He who is joined to God becomes one spirit with Him.” -Corinthians 6:17 In all we do, we do without condition. For to do things with condition means that we do not love and favour personal gain. To do everything without condition means we are one, we do only for love. Through our love and compassion for others we may help all in the development of a oneness consciousness. We are all one, always connected, limitless, everywhere and in everything,...Namaste Article by Andrew Martin editor of onenesspublishing and author of One ~ A Survival Guide for the Future...
