Activism Is Paying Off As Another Canadian City Bans Fluoride From Their Drinking Water

The district of Muskoka, Ontario is home to about 60,000 and is a hot spot for Toronto resident cottages. On Monday October 21st, the district voted during a council meeting to end the practice of water fluoridation. With a vote of 10-9 in favor of ending the practice. Muskoka joined a long list of cities ending the detrimental practice of water fluoridation. It is projected that the city will save about $50,000 per year by ending water fluoridation. [1] Growing awareness about the dangers of water fluoridation lends a hand to the success we continue to see all over the world with regards to fluoride being removed from the water supplies. Israel, Australia, Canada and the U.S. all feature a number of cities who recently joined, virtually the rest of the world, in removing fluoride from public water. Activists who continue to spread awareness about the clear dangers of water fluoridation can be thanked for the continued success we are seeing. Fluoride has been linked to cancer, osteoporosis, decreased brain function, fluorosis of the teeth and skeleton, reduced thyroid function, arthritis, reproductive issues and more. [2] With yet another city joining the list, it only seems a matter of time for surrounding cities to finally begin following suit. It seems the age old political response of “we’ve assessed the issue and no dangers have been found” will no longer work. In point of fact, fluoride causes more human cancer deaths than any other chemical. When you have power you don’t have to tell the truth. That’s a rule that has been working in this world for generations. And there are a great many people who don’t tell the truth when they are in power in administrative positions. Fluoride amounts to public murder on a grand scale. It is some of the most conclusive scientific and biological evidence that I have come across in my 50 years in the field of cancer research. For me this is a big topic because I have always been passionate about researching into the dangers of fluoride. To be honest, seeing the amount of research that has gone into assessing the dangers of fluoride yet recognizing that most governments do not care is somewhat troubling. While my research has led me to realize that there is both a lack of care as well as a conspiracy involved as to why the governments continue to do it, it is great to see that the public and collective consciousness plays an effective role in taking their power back on the issue. Awareness is so important! A couple of years ago I put many hours into researching the practice of water fluoridation and through that research I discovered some very interesting facts.
