Ask Yourself, Why Is DAPL Turning the Site of a Peaceful Unarmed Camp Into a Warzone?

Ask Yourself, Why Is DAPL Turning the Site of a Peaceful Unarmed Camp Into a Warzone?

A peaceful camp of people protecting a large body of water from extreme contamination potential — a threat posed by construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline — is now the site of continuos militarized police presence, low flying aircraft with their lights turned off (possibly spraying unknown substances), and more. It’s common knowledge that oil pipelines frequently break and that most of these spills aren’t covered by mainstream media. Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P., the company that’s gunning to acquire Energy Transfer Partners (the company that’s building the DAPL), has experienced upwards of 200 oil spills that we know about. This is just one example from one company, but this is a global problem many communities beyond the Standing Rock Sioux tribe face. Not long ago, we visited Standing Rock and witnessed the helicopters and aircraft flying around the site, as well as an increase in unnecessary force used on peaceful water protectors, and we hope to return soon. It’s heartbreaking to think that the entire Missouri River now faces threats of extreme contamination, and that peaceful human beings of all ages are being bombarded and assaulted for simply standing peacefully and protecting the water; for exercising their right to live. Water is life. Concussion grenades, tear gas, pepper spray, and more have been used on the water protectors, often resulting in terrible injuries causing permanent damage. I’ll spare you the gory details. But suffice it to say, this is madness.

The protestors have done nothing to incite such violence. How can something like this be happening? We spoke to a couple of military veterans on site who shared some shocking (though sadly unsurprising) information. We had inklings of this already, but to hear it confirmed from someone on the inside was chilling. Here’s some of the footage we shot with some of the veterans at the camp, explaining why they are there and why it’s important for all Americans to know what is happening in their own country.

The corporate militarized police force claims to be there to keep the peace, but that’s not what’s happening.

They are actively working to make it seem as though they face hostile confrontation — a tactic one veteran told us has been used in Afghanistan as well.

They simply identify peaceful people as a possible threat so they can go in, initiate violence, and then use that as justification to do whatever they want, be it simply taking over the land for a corporation or satisfying other ulterior motives. Overseas, the victims simply become collateral damage, and the invasion of the Middle East was initiated by what’s known as “false flag” terrorism. It’s basically creating a problem that isn’t really there in order to justify hostile actions. 9/11 is an obvious example, but there have been many more.

They sometimes label the displaced as terrorists as well, to make their actions seem righteous.

The establishment of powerful corporations and the people who sit behind them have complete control over our government and our state workers and can force them (if they want to keep their jobs) to do whatever they desire. This is exactly what we are seeing with the DAPL.

The below quote really sums up how the Western military industrial complex has shaped our lives for years now. “The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.” – Edward Bernays (“the father of public relations”), Propaganda, 1928 (note that Bernays’ book, Propaganda, begins with the above quote).

These pipelines are completely unnecessary. It’s already known that we have many other viable options for generating energy. One of them we know of, beyond solar, wind, and other clean energy technologies that are less effective than we’ve been led to believe, is the Magnetic Transducer Generator by Noca Clean Energy. You can check out the specs and more information in the links above. We have been vetting this technology for the past six months, and it’s making major strides in several countries around the world.

The bottom line is, we have solutions, and the fact that oil companies and other major corporations control nearly every aspect of our lives is no longer a conspiracy theory.

The argument for why we don’t need to generate energy using oil isn’t even an argument anymore; it’s so self-evident that no further points need to be made.

The real problem we must now tackle is dethroning the people behind these pipelines and the financial banking elite that funds them, and replacing them with people who hold Earth, its people, and all life on the planet first in their hearts. We can create a world where everybody can thrive. .
