Experiential vs. Theoretical Knowledge – Crossing Borders For The Superconscious Mind Conference

Experiential vs. Theoretical Knowledge – Crossing Borders For The Superconscious Mind Conference

Last October at the Science and Nonduality Conference in San Jose I was approached after my presentation by a young gentleman from Mexico who asked whether I might speak at the Superconscious Mind Congress in Puebla, Mexico. When I saw their mission I agreed: Our Congress is inspired by the celebration of this vision, to summon more than 20 gifted minds from around the globe to transmit relevant topics specialized in self – knowledge and welfare, which facilitate the reprogramming of every individual to contact our circulation. In two days of wonder and surprises, in a warm atmosphere full of originality and 11 musical offerings sensitize the coexistence of this great meeting, after which no one will perceive your reality in the same way. This is venturing into the joy of the opening at the same time to acquire the necessary mental tools, to return and enrich the community that we all are. This very flattering invitation also brought back some amazing memories—it was like a good novel. That is because I have had a very strong connection with Mexico. About 42 years ago I worked in Cancun, Mexico, and a young bellman at the time started me on the journey that led me to SAND. He gave me a book by Mexican author Rodolfo Benavides called Dramatic Prophesies of the Great Pyramid which stimulated my fascination with Egypt—ironic, as the book was given to me just a few miles from Chichen Itza and the Mayan pyramids. But the decision to go back to Mexico was not that easy. I have a life of serenity and comfort in the suburbs of Las Vegas and the usual apprehension about foreign travel, especially to Mexico, exacerbated by the fears induced by the mass media. But Roberto Zatarain Leal, the head of the conference, made me overcome my fears and fly to Puebla, a two hour drive from Mexico City and a center of learning and culture of which I was unaware.

The reality of attending this event made me experientially embrace the work I have been doing with Michael Jeffreys and others and truly accept “not knowing” in my life not theoretically—but actually. When I left Las Vegas I did not know the name of the hotel where my hosts would be taking me, but had the assurance by Roberto’s team that I would be greeted and well taken care of. That was an understatement. I had not experienced such warmth and hospitality since time in Mexico decades earlier. This amazing weekend showed me that the work of Collective Evolution and spread of the knowledge of Consciousness is not limited to America and Canada, but is spreading quickly around the world—as an evolutionary process as Eckhart Tolle has written. Roberto organized an amazing event that transcends the limits of language; I was incredulous at the ability of the translators to convey even the most subtle aspects of the program.

The ability to present my own most passionate ideas about “If DNA is Software, Who Wrote the Code?” to hundreds of eager people was the fulfillment of a seven year dream. In addition I saw vendors of organic and herbal solutions to health problems, amazing musicians, and incredible fellow speakers with whom I was able to interact. Roberto and his team also organized the largest ever “Human Mandala,” comprised of over 2000 interconnected souls that bonded together as a drone took their image for posterity. And then I was very touched to receive a beautiful personalized Mandala as a gift.... Among the leading speakers were some of my favorites from SAND, including Peter Russell, Theresa Bullard, and Eileen McCusick. Peter is one of the clearest thinkers about the limitations of “Scientism” and the primacy of consciousness.

Theresa is the founder of Quantum Leap Alchemy and a pioneer in the field of fusing science, consciousness, and transformative technologies. Eileen is the inventor of Biofield Tuning, a unique, non-medical therapeutic method that uses sound waves produced by tuning forks in the biomagnetic field, or biofield, that surrounds the human body. We were joined by other amazing speakers and thought leaders from Mexico and around the world. Prem Dayal, an Italian living in Mexico and a former student of Osho, looks like a rock star and speaks worldwide about about “tribal meditation” and creativity. Pascal K’in Greub is a former Swiss banker who studied with Mayan masters to become a shaman and lead retreats in the Mayan mysteries in eastern Mexico to enable people to tune into the wisdom of their own Heart-Time. Mabel Katz is an internationally acclaimed speaker, author, and seminar leader who is recognized as a leading authority on Ho’oponopono, an ancient Hawaiian art and practice for achieving greater clarity of purpose and living and working more effectively. This was only the tip of the iceberg; the conference featured 20 speakers in all, plus the music and perhaps most important, a tangible sense of purpose and loving community. For me it manifested the truth of one of my favorite poets, T. S. Eliot, when he wrote, “We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.” This was an extraordinary event for me on many levels, but the chance to present my ideas to a large receptive audience using the skills I had learned in other fields was like an athlete might feel winning a championship. It represented the culmination of seven years of believing in the importance of a single idea: that DNA is indeed software and that reality should shake up our complacent science forever. so that this was an experience I will treasure forever and demonstrated to me what Collective Evolution is really all about: to face the irrational fears of the mind and connect deeply with the Consciousness that is truly all there is – Being itself. .
