We've grown up being taught that Christopher Columbus discovered America. He has been portrayed as a 'good' man and even a hero by some.

Facebook Censors A Video Detailing The True Story Of Christopher Columbus

. Fortunately, we are learning the truth as many scholars have published works depicting the exact opposite. Why has our history been altered? What is the purpose, and what are the implications of true revelations? In this day and age, with so much new information being disclosed, it's best to keep an open mind about things you may have never heard about.

There are numerous examples that point to the fact that what we’re taught in school, at least in North America, gives us an incomplete if not downright false version of our history.

The fact that the United States government alone classifies approximately five hundred million pages of documents every single year (according to the estimates of some historians like Richard Dolan) gives credence to this idea. Historians or researchers looking to peer into the depths of history are severely handicapped by the fact that much of the crucial documentation of their own history remains completely classified. Why is it that such prominent and revolutionary figures, like Nikola Tesla, are completely forgotten? When it comes to the true history of humanity, we don’t really know much about it. We are stuck with the limitations and biases of what we are told. If history has taught us anything, it’s that what we’ve been told is not usually true. This is especially the case when it comes to Christopher Columbus, often credited with the discovery of America. It should not be forgotten that America (North America) was already inhabited in 1492, with millions of indigenous people. Upon the arrival of Columbus, the process of mass genocide and Christian assimilation began. Christopher Columbus had aristocratic blood and came over to this continent under orders from those who were ruling in Europe. This ruling elite considered themselves ‘godlike’ in face of the various indigenous cultures of the world. This is easily seen amongst Royal Families and those who ran the Church. We are now hearing more and more about a foundation of ritualistic satanic abuse prevalent among Royal Families and the Catholic Church today. This has been a ‘tradition’ that’s been going on for a very long time. Those who are birthed within these orders believe they were born to rule the planet, and perceive this behavior as normal. Stemming from this was Columbus’ mission when he arrived on American soil, a brutal campaign of assimilation, domination and enslavement that involved rape, torture, and death. Below is a video featuring George Joshua Richard Monbiot, a British writer known for his environmental and political activism. He writes a weekly column for The Guardian and is the author of a number of books, including Captive State: The Corporate Takeover of Britain (2000). He was the latest to decry Facebook’s increased censorship after a video he made, on the crimes of European colonialism, was taken down by the tech giant. In his tweet, following the removal of the video Monbiot wrote: “Here’s our video about the airbrushing of colonial history, that @facebook has gone and airbrushed.” The video was up for more than a week, hitting almost 1 million views. According to DNN co-founder Yannis Mendez, the video is “a serious piece of historical journalism.” It was deleted on Tuesday without warning and without a specific reason. Facebook also recently deleted a number of alternative media pages without any explanation or warning. We are living in a time off mass censorship, but the censorship seems to be exposing the truth even more so than it’s hiding it. This type of censorship has not only been blocked by Facebook but in American in general: Is Christopher Columbus guilty of genocide?1 Of murder? On the date of the ‘Columbian Quincentenary’ in 1992, marking the five-hundredth anniversary of the misadventure of Columbus (Cristóbal Colón), some 20,000 Italian people took to the streets in Genoa, Italy, in protest.2 While the Italian event was largely ignored in the United States, there was enough protest of the Quincentenary among American Indians and their allies of all races that any celebration of the event was significantly muted in the United States, where the largest protest saw a cohort of 3,000 protesters in Denver, Colorado. (from Thief, Slave Trader, Murderer: Christopher Columbus and Caribbean Population Decline, University of Minnesota Press). Those who have been responsible for such atrocities have also been involved in the coverup. A great example would be the residential school system in Canada, where a number of children were subjected to the same thing. We have to remember, the set-up of the residential school program in Canada was initiative by the government (Department of Mining) as well as the Church, which had its roots in Europe among the ruling elite and aristocracy. At these schools, children were stripped of their heritage and converted to Catholicism, they were also tortured, raped and murdered. I recently published an article about a survivor of the residential school program, William Coombs, who was set to testify regarding the abuses he saw and experienced before his suspicious death. In the 1930s, the headmasters of the residential schools were made legal guardians of all native children, ripping them away from their parents. All parents were forced to surrender legal custody of their children to a principal or a church employee, or face imprisonment. A few years later, “Indian Affairs” was taken over by the Federal Government. (source)(source)(source) Coombs remembers Queen Elizabeth paid a visit to his school in 1964. Here is the experience described in Coombs’ own words, posted up by the International Tribunal into Crimes by Church and State. Coombs was to have served as a sworn witness at the September 2011 session of the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State as to crimes of torture. Again, given what we know about aristocratic pedophilia, ritual abuse and Satanism, these brutal historical campaigns are not surprising. It’s not even out of the box to assume that this is something these bloodlines have had in common since they decided to initiate their ‘world take-over’ agenda as early as ancient Rome or even earlier. Scholars have estimated that, prior to the ‘discovery’ of the Americas by Europeans, the indigenous population could have been as high as 100 million people. American anthropologist and ethnohistorian Henry F. Dobyns, most known for his published research on American Indians and Hispanic peoples in Latin and North America, estimated that more than one hundred and twelve million people inhabited the Americas prior to European arrival. He approximated that ten million alone inhabited an area north of the Rio Grande before European contact. In 1983, he revised that number to upwards of eighteen million. (source)(source)(source) An American historian and Professor of American Studies at the University of Hawaii David E. Stannard reveals in his work that the native people were caught between imported plagues and barbarous atrocities, which resulted in the annihilation of 95 percent of their populations. In his book American Holocaust, he asks what kind of people would do such horrendous things to others. He and many others emphasize that the perpetrators of the American Holocaust drew on the same ideologies as would later the architects of the Nazi Holocaust. (source) The takeaway here is simple, it’s to question why our official history has been distorted. Again, this has happened with multiple different subjects, and it’s not fair. Years of propaganda and brainwashing is now being undone, and with the birth of the internet and social media, information is spreading around like it’s never had before, and it’s our job to do our own research and put on our critical thinking caps if we’re really curious about something.
