Female Birth Control: This Might Be The Best & Safest Way I’ve Ever Seen. Ladies You Need To See This!

Unless you are planning a family, or have already had one, birth control is something that a lot of us have to think about..

Female Birth Control: This Might Be The Best & Safest Way I’ve Ever Seen. Ladies You Need To See This!

There are many different types ranging from the infamous condom, to the hormonal changing birth control pill.

The safest and by far the most effective at a percentage of 100, is abstinence, but let’s get real here... it’s not a very realistic option for most people. You may or may not be surprised to know that there are only 6 days out of the month that a woman can actually get pregnant. That means that there are really only 6 days where you need any form of contraception at all. What great news! That means that if women were aware of their own cycles and were able to know which days they were ovulating, then they would not have to subject their bodies to the potentially dangerous means of birth control pills, patches or vaccines! Sure, there are always condoms, but I don’t think I’m alone when I say I’d rather not. So, what’s a girl to do? There are methods of tracking your periods and taking your temperatures each morning and recording them in a log. While these methods can be effective you have to be sure that it is being done correctly. I’m sure that the term “Natural Family Planning” even scares some of you because you have known some people who have tried it and ended up with 7 or 8 un-planned kids. (Not that this is necessarily a “bad” thing, but it isn’t always a welcoming option for most.) A little while ago my friend sent me a video about something called the “Lady-Comp” and suggested that I write an article about it, so here I am. Many women including myself are/were completely un-aware that technology like this even exists. I was completely amazed when I watched the video about this unique device, (I will post the video at the end of the article.) I was excited to learn that we do in fact have the ability to be able to know exactly when we can and can’t get pregnant, and from there be able to take these matters into our own hands. The Lady-Comp is a computer specifically for women, its purpose is to serve as a contraception device or even a conceiving device depending on what your needs are. Either way, it tells you which day that you are ovulating and also the 5 days prior so that you can be 100% sure about when you can have worry free and un-protected sex. All you have to do is place the thermometer attached to this device in your mouth, under your tongue for 30-60 seconds every morning when you wake up and it will take your temperature. After a short period of time, after the device has collected enough data, it will be able to tell you with a 99.3% accuracy exactly when you are ovulating, when you are able to conceive and when you are infertile. You will see a green light during your “infertile” days, a red light during your “fertile” days and a yellow light while the computer is still collecting data. Now for the 6 days of the month where you are fertile it is up to you to either abstain from having sex, or use other alternatives like the condom.

The other cool thing about it is, if you are wanting to know when you’re fertile when trying to have a baby, this device can help you determine the best times to try. Depending on how valuable you believe this form of contraception is you may find it expensive, but it depends on how you look at it. I personally do not have one yet, but I plan to be getting one soon. I have never been on birth control pills, rings or vaccines for the main reason that I don’t really like the idea of messing with our natural circadian rhythms. I was also quite wary of the side effects including weight gain and mood swings. And as you can probably tell, I’m not a very big fan of condoms (although there is a time and a place where they are ABSOLUTELY necessary); I have debated other methods such as IUD’s but there were always too many cons to these methods.

There is the classic ‘pull-out’ method, but it is probably the least effective. So to be absolutely safe, and avoid potentially harmful side effects, I think this device is an effective investment. Over time it could also save you money. I think that it is very important for women to be aware of the cycles that their body is going through. I find that the traditional birth control pill makes it so easy to just give our power away and put matters into someone else’s hands. We don’t need to be filling our bodies with all this extra stuff, so why are we? We are uninformed. Let’s be informed, and take control of our own bodies. *Disclaimer* This device does not aid as protection against sexually transmitted infections.
