Wikileaks: Journalists From Major Networks Met At Clinton Staffers’ Homes Days Before Her Campaign Launch

Wikileaks: Journalists From Major Networks Met At Clinton Staffers’ Homes Days Before Her Campaign Launch

Just two days before Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for president, several top journalists from corporately owned mainstream media outlets — the same outlets that are owned by the major corporations sponsoring the Hillary Clinton’s campaign — were invited to attend a private, off-the-record gathering at the home of Joel Benenson, Clinton’s Chief Campaign Strategist. This revelation came as part of the emails Wikileaks released regarding John Podesta, Chief of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and former White House Chief of Staff for Bill Clinton. It’s worth mentioning that Podesta also held a small gathering at his home that was limited to reporters covering the Clinton campaign.

The gathering resembles one that took place at the home of Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a member of the Rothschild banking family, where she held a $100,000 a head fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. (You can read more about that here.) Below are some of the details straight from the Wikileaks email. This “broader universe of New York reporters” includes multiple top anchors from the most popular cable and network channels. For example, Svannah Cuthrie from NBC, Alex Wagner and Rachel Maddow from MSNBC, and Brian Keilar, Gloria Borger, John Berman, and Kate Bolduan from CNN. It also included Norah O’Donnell from CBS news, and ABC news’ Cecilia Vega, David Muir, Diane Sawyer, and George Stephanopoulos. (I should mention, Mr. Stephanopoulos was also Bill Clinton’s senior advisor during his first White House term.) Phil Griffin and Jeff Zucker, the presidents of CNN, were also invited. Wikileaks’ release of the Democratic National Committee emails also expose how then-DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wassermann Schultz scheduled a private meeting with both of the CNN executives.

These same DNC leaks revealed discussions among DNC staff regarding how to deal with Bernie Sanders’ popularity, calling it a challenge to Clinton’s candidacy. Instead of treating him as a viable candidate for the Democratic ticket, they chose to work against him and his campaign to ensure Clinton’s nomination. All of these leaks, along with evidence of fraud, led Schultz to resign from the DNC.

The full RSVP list for the gathering at Benenson’s house is revealed in an attachment on a separate email. If you don’t want to download those onto your computer, you can view the list of reporters that RSVPd, as well as the list for the event at Podesta’s home, at Breibart.com. Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, are most of your thoughts and desires even your own? What about when it comes to election time? Is your support for a certain candidate the result of carefully considered research and reasoning, or simply mainstream media programming? Mainstream media can no longer be trusted. It has become the job of alternative media to inform people of what’s going on in the world, which is exactly why we at CE launched our recent campaign — to help spread the truth, unfiltered through corporate and political bias. In addition to this public manipulation at the hands of the mainstream media, we have a presidential candidate giving speeches that were paid for by the big banks, yet so many of us continue to blindly follow along without looking at any other sources of information beyond what’s presented to us on television. It’s not just the Wikileaks that have opened people up to this type of propaganda, but top journalists from these networks, too. For example, the below TEDx talk was given by veteran investigative journalist and former CBS NEWS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson. In it, she explains how “astroturf,” or fake grassroots movements, funded by political, corporate, or other special interests, are very effectively manipulating and distorting mainstream media messages. Another great example comes from Dr. Udo Ulfkotte, a top German journalist and editor for more than two decades. He recently went on the record stating that he was forced to publish the works of intelligence agents under his own name, also mentioning that noncompliance would result in him losing his job. He recently made an appearance on RT news revealing the depth of corruption in his industry: I’ve been a journalist for about 25 years, and I was educated to lie, to betray, and not to tell the truth to the public. But seeing right now within the last months how the German and American media tries to bring war to the people in Europe, to bring war to Russia — this is a point of no return and I’m going to stand up and say it is not right what I have done in the past, to manipulate people, to make propaganda against Russia, and it is not right what my colleagues do and have done in the past because they are bribed to betray the people, not only in Germany, all over Europe. If you know anything about Operation Mockingbird, a CIA-based initiative to control mainstream media, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s hard to believe, especially in light of all these leaks, that operations like Mockingbird are still in place today. Below is some telling footage about the CIA and their campaign to influence media, which began in the 1950s. Amber Lyon, a three time Emmy award winning journalist at CNN, has also gone on record stating that media outlines are routinely told and paid by the U.S. government, as well as other foreign governments, to selectively distort and report information on certain events. She has also said that the United States government has editorial control over mainstream media content.

The list literally goes on and on. It might be hard to accept the fact that so much information and truth about our world and what is happening on it comes from a television screen — one that is controlled by a small number of people and the corporations they run, no less. This is far from a conspiracy theory, and concerns have been raised in various publications, like this one from Harvard university that outlines how, almost universally, all of the biggest media firms are owned by the government and private families. Now think about who dictates government policy: corporations. Many people believe that corporations rule our world, something that’s now known in the alternative media world as a “corporatocracy.” And above the corporations we have the big banks.

The truth is, free press hasn’t existed for a very long time. In fact, even intellectuals like John Milton in the seventeenth century advocated for free press and independent media. This is exactly what we are trying to do. If you’re interested in helping out, you can do so HERE; your support is greatly appreciated. It’s time to vote with your dollar! Photo Credit .
