So what can you do if you, or someone you care about, may have self-esteem issues? The first step is to work on acknowledging the issue. It is impossible to have people walk on eggshells around you forever, so working on strategies to manage the way you value and talk to yourself is essential. Sometimes, the best place to work through this process is to seek professional counseling or start with a trusted friend or family member who will be able to discuss your feelings with you in a safe environment.
