Renowned German Scientists Publish A Book Titled “Corona, False Alarm? Facts & Figures”

Two well known scientists who reside in Germany, in June, published a book questioning what we are hearing from the mainstream with regards to COVID-19.

Is this fake news? No, the book is actually real. Are the contents and conclusions of the book fake and false? Facebook fact checkers may have you believe yes, but should information not be censored so people can decide for themselves? Like so many other topics these days, COVID-19 is caught up in a massive wave of differing opinions with regards to what’s happening, how it’s being handled, and how dangerous it really is. Mainstream media, the World Health Organization, and government health authorities have constantly warned the citizenry that we are dealing with a dangerous pandemic on par with something the world has never seen before, and it’s something that’s going to be here for a while. According to them, this is evident by the number of deaths that have taken place as a result of the virus and the health implications that can come after one contracts COVID-19, like permanent lung damage for example. Never before has our world been so polarized. On the other side of this perspective, there are thousands of doctors and scientists around the world who are claiming, and who have claimed, that COVID-19 is not nearly as dangerous as it’s being made out to be, that it’s nothing more than a seasonal flu, and that lockdown measures are not only unnecessary but harmful psychologically, biologically and economically. Take for example The Great Barrington Declaration, which now has approximately 45,000 signatures from doctors and scientists opposing lockdown measures. It’s one of many examples. Click here to help! What compliments this polarization is a massive censorship campaign. Doctors and scientists who have shared their research and opinions suggesting that COVID-19 is not as dangerous as it’s being made out to be, or present any information that opposes what the World Health Organization has shared have been subjected to extreme censorship and ridicule by multiple social media platforms, Facebook fact-checkers, and mainstream media outlets. On this side of the coin, these health professionals don’t get any airtime from mainstream media outlets and their research and opinions continue to remain unacknowledged by the masses. What Happened: Two renowned scientists based in Germany, Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi and Karina Reiss Ph.D have published a book titled “Corona, False Alarm? Facts & Figures.“ It was published in June 2020, and in its first six weeks it sold 200,000 physical copies and 75,000 e-books. Dr. Bhakdi received his MD in 1970. He was a post-doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics in Freiburg from 1972 to 1976, and at The Protein Laboratory in Copenhagen from 1976 to 1977. He joined the Institute of Medical Microbiology at Giessen University in 1977 and was appointed associate professor in 1982. He was named chair of Medical Microbiology at the University of Mainz in 1990, where he remained until his retirement in 2012. Dr. Bhakdi has published over three hundred articles in the fields of immunology, bacteriology, virology, and parasitology, for which he has received numerous awards and the Order of Merit of Rhineland-Palatinate. He’s one of the most cited scientists in German history. Implementation of the current draconian measures that are so extremely restrict fundamental rights can only be justified if there is reason to fear that a truly, exceptionally dangerous virus is threatening us. Do any scientifically sound data exist to support this contention for COVID-19? I assert that the answer is simply, no. – Bhakdi. Karina Reiss studied biology at the University of Kiel where she received her PhD in 2001. She became assistant professor in 2006 and associate professor in 2008 at the University of Kiel. She has published over sixty articles in the fields of cell biology, biochemistry, inflammation, and infection, which have gained international recognition and received prestigious honors and awards.

These are two out of thousands who feel the way they do. So ask yourself, are they stupid, dumb, have no idea what they are talking about and spreading false information about COVID-19? Why are we so polarized? Why have we been made to believe that those who believe COVID-19 is of great concern are stupid, and the same of others who don’t? What is happening on our planet? Why have we become so separated in our beliefs about what is going on and why is one side always bashed, ridiculed, and censored by the powerful machine that is mainstream media? The book description reads as follows: No other topic dominates our attention as much as coronavirus and COVID-19, the infectious disease it triggers.

There’s been a global deluge of contradictory opinions, fake news, and politically controlled information. Differing views on the dangers posed by the pandemic have led to deep division and confusion, within governments, society, and even among friends and family. In Corona, False Alarm?, award-winning researchers Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi and Dr. Karina Reiss give clarity to these confusing and stressful times.

They offer analysis of whether radical protective measures—including lockdown, social distancing, and mandatory masking—have been justified, and what the ramifications have been for society, the economy, and public health. Dr. Bhakdi and Dr. Reiss provide dates, facts, and background information, including: How Covid-19 compares with previous coronaviruses and the flu virus What infection numbers and the death rate really tell us The challenges around lockdown: Were the protective measures justified? Mandatory mask-wearing: Does the science support it? Does the race for vaccine development make sense? What are the chances of success? Will the vaccine be safe? Will people accept it? Corona, False Alarm? provides you with sound information and substantiated facts—and encourages you to form your own opinion on the corona crisis. This Article May Be Marked As False or Misleading By Fact Checkers: By simply publishing an article and presenting the research and opinion by experts in the field, we here at We would argue that we are simply presenting information from a credible source, and the idea or claim they are presenting is completely up for the reader to explore and decide on. It’s truly mind-altering to think that so many doctors and scientists have been censored, ridiculed and scrubbed from social media platforms for simply sharing information, information that’s highly debatable as to whether or not it’s true or false. Concluding Comments: How polarized are we in our beliefs about COVID-19? Why is the information coming from one side heavily censored and ridiculed? Why can’t we have open transparent conversations about COVID-19 that include all narratives from experts in the field instead of constantly hearing that government health authorities are always right? What is going on here? At the end of the day, no matter what we believe, it’s key to empathize with a person who holds a complete opposite opinion and understand where they are coming from and why they feel the way they do. This is the only way we can start to understand why we all believe what we do, and what makes us believe these things? We need to have more dialogue, more transparency, less censorship, and more information, not the opposite.

The solution to misinformation, I believe, is more information and more education.

These days, it’s not just knowing information and facts that will create change, it’s changing ourselves, how we go about communicating, and re-assessing the underlying stories, ideas and beliefs that form our world. We have to practice these things if we truly want to change.
