Rescued Circus Lion Gets To Feel Grass Beneath His Paws For The First Time In 13 Years (Video)

. It is easy to ask, “How could someone be so cruel as to lock up an animal and make it do tricks?” Well, the people who pay to see this sort of thing are just as cruel, if not worse. After over a decade of servitude, Will was rescued by an amazing organization called Rancho dos Gnomos. This incredible organization is a place of peace for wild, domestic, and exotic animals that have been abused, neglected, or exploited. In the video below, you will see Will finally being released from his cage and stepping onto grass for the first time in 13 years! Imagine, a lion not being able to feel the earth underneath his paws for that long. You can see the joy in his face and in his every movement. This is truly a remarkable thing to witness! Seeing this video makes me want to get up and out and roll around in some grass! Sometimes we take our own freedom for granted! Circuses wouldn’t exist if there weren’t people willing to pay to see them; you do have a say when it comes to the treatment of these animals. This is another great example of how you can vote with your dollars. Much Love .
