The Personal Responsibility Vortex
Bret Weinstein is an evolutionary theorist and member of the faculty at The Evergreen State College.
In hist work "Natural Selection and the Evolution of Climate Change" he considers how the choices individuals make trying to do right, can often be ineffective or even harmful.
According Tedx on their Youtube video channel:
On April 16, 2012, speakers and attendees gathered at TEDx The Evergreen State College to reflect on the ability -- and responsibility -- of formal and informal education to inspire and empower action in this era of climate change.
We strongly believe that - formal and informal education - really means to embed the worry about climate change on young generations. Instead we believe it might be extremely more useful to deeply investigate the supposedly human delivered global warming phenomena, to obtain real and trustful information about the root cause of earth temperature increase.
In the following talk, one can listen powerful sentences like:
This is how all our current enviromental problems look like: Someone creating a profit by degrading what belongs to all of us.
Those who are getting the money are externalizen the cost to someone else.
And much more like that.
Thanks to Bret for all the work he is doing.
