Norfolk residents are being forced to sell their homes to make way for a solar farm. In another instance of a housing grab, immigrants have forcibly taken an elderly woman’s home from her; the police say they cannot intervene, leaving her to pursue legal action against the immigrants in an effort to reclaim her property.

First UK residents to face compulsory purchase of homes for solar farm
Residents in three “Domesday villages” fear their homes will be the first in Britain to be compulsorily purchased to make way for the country’s biggest-ever solar farm.
Dozens of villagers living in Hempnall, Saxlingham and Tasburgh in Norfolk have received letters from a developer saying their homes “may be required” to create space for the East Pye Solar Project.
The development will cover a massive 2,500 acres – the equivalent of 1,762 football pitches or the size of Chichester in West Sussex – and is 10 times bigger than the UK’s current largest in Flintshire, Wales.

The Government is doing the same to farming but in a less obvious way.
Last year, we published an article that highlighted Gareth Phillips, a “renewable energy expert” at Pinsent Masons, declaring that the UK’s inheritance tax on farmers will free up land for “renewable energy” projects. The reduction in the relief on inheritance for farmers potentially threatens the survival of independently run family farming in the UK, yet Phillips was pleased at the news because, presumably, it would mean more business for him.
But Phillips is simply attempting to capitalise on what is government policy, as the UK’s Energy Secretary confirmed a month later. In December 2024, Ed Miliband proposed carpeting the countryside with solar panels as he pledged to bring in “the most ambitious reforms to the country’s energy system in generations.”
Bringing about food insecurity by diminishing agricultural output was evident before Phillips declared his allegiance and Mad Miliband made his proposals.
A few months before, we published an article about a speech given by Cornish farmer Keith Andrews explaining how the UK government is incentivising farmers not to grow food. We were not able to establish when or where this speech was given, but Andrews explained that under the Sustainable Farming Incentive, the UK government was paying farmers to plant seed for birds and bees instead of crops. The Incentive is one of three schemes that make up the Environmental Land Management, which replaced the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy and aims to “support the rural economy while achieving the goals of the 25 Year Environment Plan and a commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2050.”
In addition to being an expensive, unrenewable and unreliable source of energy, solar farms are also environmentally unfriendly. Apart from the threat to farming (which is environmentally friendly aside from the use of chemicals suffixed with “cide”) and the loss of habitat for the birds and bees (their natural habitats, including farmland, are covered with solar panels), the battery storage required for solar farms poses a threat of catastrophic and uncontrollable fires.
Pensioner Lost Her Home to a Gang of Foreign Squatters
Yesterday, the Daily Mail reported that a pensioner in her 80s had her £590,000 home in Chingford, north-east London, taken over by a gang of suspected foreign squatters from Eastern Europe.
The squatters allegedly broke into the property at the end of April while the pensioner was visiting a friend and have refused to leave despite claims of having no legal right to be there. The Metropolitan Police has refused to take action, stating the matter is a civil offence, leaving the pensioner effectively homeless.
“This whole thing is organised – it’s an organised crime … [but] trying to get police to take action on this is completely astonishing,” former Conservative Party leader, Sir Iain Duncan Smith, said.
Migrants from Eastern Europe could be from any of several countries, including Ukraine, and we don’t know whether they are asylum seekers or are legally or illegally in the UK. However, over the years, there have been various indications that mass immigration is being used to roll out the Globalist agenda of “you will own nothing … and we will own everything, including you.” Whether it be digital IDs or creating a perpetual housing crisis, mass illegal immigration is part of the agenda.
In 2024, the newly elected Labour government claimed to be committed to building 370,000 new homes per year to address the UK’s housing crisis. Labour’s “commitment” was, of course, completely unrealistic. Now, Deputy Prime Minister and Housing Secretary Angela Rayner is facing Labour backbench rebellion over even more ambitious plans to build 1.5 million new homes in England by 2029.
Assuming backbenchers don’t rebel, Rayner’s plan of providing 1.5 million new homes over the next 3.5 years equates to more than 428,500 new homes per year, or over 8,200 a week and more than 1,200 homes a day.
For the first five months of 2025, 14,812 illegal migrants had crossed the Channel on small boats and made it onto Britain’s shores. And on one of those days, a record 1,100 landed on British shores. In the video below, Patrick Christy reports from Calais to expose Kier Starmer and Yvette Cooper’s lies about what is coming Britain’s way. He also speaks to illegal immigrants to find out why they plan to travel to the UK rather than staying in France or Central Europe.
Since 2018, over 160,000 illegal migrants have entered the UK through this route, which equates to an average of more than 2,000 per week or nearly 300 per day. Based on these figures, illegal migrants arriving via the small boat route will take up about a third of Labour’s aspirations of 1,100 new homes daily.
We should also factor in people entering using other illegal migration routes, such as people entering on visas and then procuring fake passports, or arriving in the UK on fake passports they procured outside the UK. If you are unaware that this happens, consider a report The Guardian made in 2007 about an estimated 10,000 British passports that were issued in a single year after fraudulent applications, some of which were issued to al-Qaida terrorists. Or consider a 2022 report of fake passports being purchased from criminal enterprises on the internet, which was linked to the activities of the Haqqani Network, a terror group acting as a powerbroker in the Taliban government. Or consider the report last year of a human trafficker conspiring to bring Albanian migrants into the UK on fake EU passports. How many illegal migrants using fake documents are registered as eligible for or already have social housing?
To add to the illegal immigration problems the UK is already facing, Keir Starmer is in talks with the European Union about a youth mobility scheme to allow people aged 18-30 in the UK and the EU to move freely between countries for a limited period to work, study and travel. How many immigrants will use the scheme to enter the UK illegally? And how many of Rayner’s new homes will be required to house them?
Rayner can pontificate all she likes about how many new homes the Labour government is going to build, but the proof is in the pudding. In 2024, the Government completed a total of 184,390 dwellings across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; 153,900 of those were in England, an average of 458 new homes per day. It is barely keeping up with the demand created by the daily arrivals of immigrants on small boats. And it could be that immigrants who are already in the country have noticed.
With the incident of Eastern European squatters stealing an elderly lady’s home in London, we have to wonder whether the UK is entering a phase where “economically inactive” immigrants will simply take what they want and not wait for the Government, which is using taxpayers’ money, to build them a home.
The housing crisis is intrinsically linked to illegal immigration. It’s disingenuous for the Government to give illegal immigrants the impression that, provided they can get themselves to the UK, they will be accommodated because, as things stand, there simply is not, nor will there ever be, enough housing to go around. The dishonesty is particularly cruel given the treacherous journey for migrants, which can prove deadly, and more are encouraged to make the journey by the promises they believe the UK government has made to provide for all their needs.
